The Voyage of the Dawn Treader Summary

So, its time of the year when Lucy and Edmund are there to stay with their cousin named as Eustace Scrubb and all of a sudden they were all moved to Narnia and that too with the help of a painting which featured a ship on the sea. When they disappeared, they were on the Narnia sea and there was a boat too in the painting. The captain of that ship is King Caspian who is there on the quest and the task is to look after and find the lords of Narnia who have been lost somewhere. While on their way they also came across a mouse that is there to take a look at the Aslan’s country and is named as Reepcheep.

While they were travelling on the ship the first place they went to was Lon Island which led them to the first lord who was named as Lord Bern. This lord had participated in the trade of slave on the lad after he was left out by Miraz. Caspian managed and took the land back and Lord Bern was then made the ruler of that land.

After this island they had to visit the other one and there Eustace escaped so that the help of the team may be avoided by them. As he came across the dragon’s lair he became sparked to see the gold and wealth and therefore he puts some hands on that gold. As he took the gold he slept immediately and later when he woke up he was actually a dragon himself. Now, the help of Aslan was the only thing that helped Eustace and he was back from the feature of dragon this made him more inclined and kind towards his cousin and the entire team. After all this Caspian’s mind made him click the fact that the Lord Octesian would have also been turned into a dragon and might have eventually died.

Then the crew went to the Deathwater Island and there was a pool which was converting everything into gold. This made the team realize that the Lord Restimar was also converted into gold and then the new island came into being where the Dreams Come true. This island was all found to be covered with darkness and they came across Lord Rhoop. After this island they went to the Island of the Star and there they came across the fact the last three lords are lost somewhere in their sleep. There was a star on the island which was known as Ramandu and that star informed them that the way they could make them wake up from the sleep is to move the ship to the edge of this world and they also have to sacrifice one of the members of their team.

As the four of them Reepcheep, Edmund, Lucy and Eustace moved to the edge the Reepcheep traveled to the edge and it was felt that he has been to the country of Aslan, as he was no more seen. As Edmund, Lucy and Eustace came across Aslan they were told that they are now very old to get back to Narnia and they were all then returned back to Narnia.
